Below is a list of the Immortals (Mythos) on PowerMud.
Gyo is the most powerful of all the Major, Minor, and Lesser Immortals. It was he that demanded the creation of this realm. Gyo keeps watch over the rest of the Immortals, stepping in at certain times to make sure that the 'Balance' is always kept.
Eli is one of the wisest of all the Immortals. Eli was the first Immortal to complete his part of the Decree of Gyo to populate this realm. Elves were his creation and his most beloved one as well. He preferred the woodlands to any other realms, so he bestowed in the Elves that love as well.
Loth is also known as the Spider Queen. She is the agent of Chaos on this realm, and uses the spider as her symbol. An ancient opponent of Eli, she used her dark powers to twist part of his creation, the Elves, into what is now the Drow race. The Drow cities are structured upon controlled chaos, and the inhabitants will do anything to please their Matron.
Kertaine is credited (along with Gyo) for creating the Human Race. When appearing before mortals, Kertaine usually takes the shape of a middle-aged Cleric of his Church. Kertaine's influence encompasses any being who is of a 'Good' alignment. He does understand that there is a need for a balance between Good and Evil, however. Kertaine's teachings focus on cleansing the mind of Evil thoughts, and the wide- spread usage of any Healing techniques, including spells he bestows upon his followers.
Remoah is also known as the Corrupter. The Duergar race was created by him, corrupting the minds of a group of Dwarves. Evil and Cunning, Remoah encourages trickery and mayhem.
Reorx is also know as the Forger. He established the Dwarven race on this realm, modeling them after his own likes and dislikes. The Dwarves preferred working with stone and wood to any other activities, just like their Patron. Along with Gnohert, Reorx helped create the Svirfneblin as well, modeling them after both Gnomes and Dwarves.
Xenei is about the absolute opposite of Kertaine, another powerful Immortal. Xenei's influences usually encompass any being of an 'Evil' alignment. Xenei is more interested in Power over the other Immortals, which is reflected on his followers, the Disciples of Xenei. The Disciples try to rule the mortal world, while Xenei tries to run the Immortal realm.
Be'juak is also know as the Lord of Decay. Followers of this evil Immortal have formed the Cult of Be'juak, and spread disease, mayhem, and destruction throughout the realms in his honor.
Felli' is also known as the Goddess of Nature. Revered by Rangers, Felii' teaches that love and respect for Nature is to always be upheld. She has been known to roam the Great Forest in the guise of a majestic unicorn.
Gnohert is usually found in his laboratory, tinkering with one thing or another. He is credited with creating the Gnome race, modeled after his own personality. Gnohert prefers to not get involved with any disputes between other Immortals. However, he did work with Reorx at one time, creating the Svirfneblin race.
Gormash thrives on wars and destruction. Credited with creating the Orc and Ogre races, Gormash instilled in them a lust for causing pain. One of the least intelligent of the Immortals, Gormash is a constant pawn in Xenei's game of power.
Sargonas is the Lord of the Sea. Credited with creating the Minotaur race, he instilled in them his lust for the open waters.
Timble is the Matron of all Halflings. Often she is found wandering the realms in the guise of a young female halfling. Timble is not fond of war or fighting, preferring the peaceful existence of a halfling, her creation.
Bhalt is known as the Patron Lord of Fighters. Bhalt feeds off of conflict, however not mayhem and chaos. A structured war is a means to an end.
Known as the Patron of Assassins, Je T'nai is well-versed in skulking around in the shadows. Normally Je T'nai performs tasks given to him by other Immortals, carrying out the deeds while no one else is looking.
Aber is the Patron of Monks, as they follow his teachings. The 'Balance' is to be upheld at all times. Toning of one's body and having mental discipline are at the root of his teachings.
