Spells - The Blur and Limited Blur spell have been fixed, there was a bug in them to render them near useless. That has been fixed.
Spells - The Fists of Fire spell has had a bug since January of 2007 where you do not get any Evocation Experience if the spell is successfully cast. That has been fixed.
Mariner - The Mariner Guild now gets a Resistance to 'Water' type damage. The amount of Resistance obtained is in relation to the level of the Mariner's 'Sailing' skill.
Cooking - Drow can now train with the Cooking trainer in Dunkrist.

Date : 9/24/2007, Apex

Magic EQ - Some new features have been in that allow 'regular' NPCs like Town Guards and such to actually load some types of Magic items. This will only be possible for the mid to upper NPCs, as a low-level NPC would not have access to magic items. To see a list of the areas and what NPCs have been updated, use 'help random_magic_items'.

Date : 2/26/2007, Viper

Arach- Tillith - Any member of Arach-Tillith who is a Matron Mother, High Priestess, or Priestess of their House will now get a SP regen bonus when resting. This bonus is just like the Muse bonus, in that it will cause more SP to be gained each regen, and faster. The 'level' of this bonus depends on which position you have.
Backstab - It is now impossible for a stunned opponent to dodge a Backstab attempt. You can still miss by tripping over your own feet, though.

Date : 2/21/2007, Sassman

Profs - The Dragon hunter and Dragon Slayer Professions have been modified somewhat. Details below: Any Guild can now get Dragon Slayer (prior to this only the 'upper' type Guilds could get it) These two Professions do not count towards your 'points' that you get for your Guild. Essentially they are 'free' as anyone can learn them. These two Professions can no longer be learned from the trainer in Zahkar. Instead, a new trainer has been added. Instead of paying for these Professions, you now need to perform a Quest-like action. (No Quest Points rewarded) This guy can also train your Claws/Biting Aversion. The trainer is on Celtia, on a beach of the Relia Ocean.
Spells/Eq - The Protection from Evil/Good/Undead effect from spells and equipment has been modified a bit. It now will provide a bit more protection.

Date : 2/15/2007, Apex

Bastion - A new Conjuration spell has been added. Go see your Conjuration trainer for more information.

Date : 1/24/2007 and 1/25/07, Viper

Profs - The Experience requirement for gaining the first three (3) Professions have each been lowered by 5k. So, for a non- Merchant, the first Profession can be gained at 10k exp now. (The 1/2 requirement for Merchants still apply, so it would now be 5k for a Merchant for #1).
Blind- Fighter - Several bonuses that the Blind-Fighter Profession enjoy have been raised: Damage, ToHit, Sneak, and Hide. Also, the help file for the Profession has been modified to show additional bonuses not otherwise specified.

Date : 1/21/2007 and 1/22/2007, Viper

Mariner - The 'Pelagic' skill has been altered a bit. It now affects Bellicose (Gore), Advanced Unarmed (Backhand), and Sailing. The 'Pierce' and 'Offhand' requirements/affects have been removed.
Hide/Sneak- Having a light source light like a torch or lantern will - prevent you from hiding and will give a large penalty for sneak. If you only have one piece of EQ that gives light then the penalty will be somewhat less and you may or may not be able to hide at all.

Date : 1/17/2007, Viper

Thief - The 'Extort' command now gives out more 'Extortion' exp when a successful extortion takes place.
Spell - The 'Tasha's Hideous Laughter' spell can now affect any target, if it is cast successfully. Previously it would only affect up to Middle-ranged NPCs or Players. There is no limit now.

Emotes - Emotes now have ansi coloring. See 'emote' under 'help variables' for more information.
Half-Ogre - It is now possible for a Half-Ogre to have Psionics. This applies to those who have not done the Quest yet.

Date : 1/12/2007, Blink, Viper

Prize! - A free prize can be obtained from the Vending machines located in both Kalinport (top of Diamond) and Dunkrist (east of Pub). The vending machines will be there all of January only.
Hiding - Hide and Sneak functionality has be altered to take into account members of your group that happen to be in the same room as you. Now you will know if group members are hidden in the room with you, and will be able to see them enter and leave. You still cannot use any kind of skills or spells on them, as this would ruin their hiding place.
Languages - A new command called 'forget' is now in. It will allow you to unlearn a language you have already learned. Note that you can never forget a language you started out with, though.

Date : 1/10/2007 and 1/11/2007, Viper

Mariner - The Gore attack has been upgraded. It now does more damage and also affects the target's Armor Class. It can also add an affect of 'bleeding' on the target, which drains HP over time. NOTE: This new 'bleeding' affect cannot kill any target, but it can get the target down to one (1) HP.
Mariner - The Backhand attack has been upgraded to do a bit more damage, depending on the Strength of the user.
Doctor - If a Doctor has a 'bleeding' affect on their person, they will automatically stop the bleeding, assuming that they are not in combat.
Succor - A successful use of Succor will stop any Bleeding that is on the target.
Bless - The proficiency that displays on the Effects command (poor, etc) for Bless and Blessed has been altered a bit to show the strength of the blessing. Before you could probably only get up to Good, not quite sure. That was not right, so now it will state Perfect if indeed it is the highest Bless you can get. Please note that the spells were NOT altered (and do not now give a higher bless), only the Effects command displaying the strength of the spell.
